Nexus Connect
Connect your systems across supplier locations.
Bring records, documents and communications from existing cloud and on-site systems into connected workflows—from delivery and invoicing to receivables and payments.
01 / NEXUS CONNECT
Connect the information your workflow needs.
Bring together dispatch, ticketing, accounting and payment records alongside approved email, Excel files, agreements and delivery documents.
For each workflow, define which sources Nexus can access, what information is retrieved or copied and who may use it.
02 / NEXUS CONNECT
Work across cloud and on-site systems.
Use supported interfaces to connect cloud applications. Nexus Edge provides the connection for supported software running at your plants and offices.
If you already use Snowflake or Databricks, assess the required connections around that existing foundation.
03 / NEXUS CONNECT
Define how records move between systems.
Confirm each system’s version, access method, supported records and refresh timing. Map customer and location identifiers, required fields and the system of record.
Some connections support reading information; updates back to a system require a supported interface and explicit authorization. Test missing records, duplicate events, rejected updates and interrupted connections before production use.
04 / NEXUS CONNECT
Keep connections working as systems change.
Agree who monitors connections, resolves failures and manages software changes. Define the connections Fractal maintains and the access and support your team provides.
FAQ
Nexus Connect questions.
More answers on the FAQ page.
01What is Nexus Connect?
Nexus Connect handles system integration and workflow automation. It uses ready-made connectors and builds custom ones where needed. You can add or disconnect systems from inside Nexus at any time.
02What happens when a transfer fails?
Every handoff needs an owner for exceptions. A good workflow shows what failed, what already happened and what needs to happen next, so a person can fix it instead of resending the same record. We cover exception handling when we map your workflow.
03What is the difference between Nexus and an ERP?
An ERP is where a business keeps its core records. Nexus connects those records to dispatch, ticketing, accounting, data and payments so they stay in step, and it adds workflows and apps for the work that falls between systems.
04How current is the data?
That depends on how each system connects. Nexus is designed to show where data came from and how fresh it is, because yesterday’s status may be fine for a report and wrong for a promise to a customer about today’s order.
