Connecting business systems is a project with a clear sequence. Knowing that sequence up front helps your team plan the time, access and decisions involved.
Start with a real workflow
Follow a real example with the people doing the work. Identify the source systems, the handoffs, the decision owners and the outcome you want to improve.
Confirm the scope
Review available interfaces, data quality, permissions and deployment requirements. Agree what the first release will do, which actions need approval and how success will be measured. Define Fractal’s responsibilities and the access and support your team provides.
Validate before you rely on it
Test normal work and exceptions with the people who will use the result. Verify required records, permissions and approved writebacks, and agree acceptance criteria before production use.
Plan for ongoing support
Agree ownership for monitoring, support, recovery and changes to connected systems. Timing depends on the systems, interfaces, data readiness, deployment choice and approvals, so the implementation plan is agreed after scoping. A prototype and a production rollout are different milestones.
